Coding for building materials
Large-character coding printed directly on carton material for building products — with printers and controllers that PACODE lists for the building industry.
01 Coding challenges
What needs marking in building materials
PACODE lists the building industry for X1JET MX and building materials for X2JET / X4JET. Both are about marking outer packaging: large text, logos and codes printed directly onto carton material.
Building products often travel in larger cartons, where a code needs to be readable from a distance and printed on more than one side. Large-character piezo printers handle the size; print controllers handle the number of faces and lines.
- 01
Large, readable carton codes
X1JET MX prints with a 50 or 100 mm printhead using TrueType fonts for text, logos, barcodes and DataMatrix codes — PACODE lists it for the building industry.
Carton & case coding - 02
More than one side, more than one line
X2JET triggers up to two printheads and X4JET up to four, for two-sided coding or two production lines; PACODE lists them for building materials.
Carton & case coding - 03
Rising or overhead conveyors
X1JET MX comes in Compact, Vario (printhead turns up to 90° for rising conveyor belts) and Top (codes from above) versions.
- 04
Barcodes on cartons
X2JET / X4JET print all common 1D and 2D barcodes with TrueType fonts; configurations add counters, date offsets and variables.
