01 Technology

Thermal Inkjet Printers

Cartridge-based Markoprint printers for high-resolution text, dates, logos, barcodes and 2D codes — from compact all-in-one coders to IP65 printers for wet and dusty areas.

HP Class printers fire ink from a replaceable cartridge that carries its own nozzles, so there is no separate ink system to maintain. X1JET models print up to 12.5 mm high; Integra Ultimate reaches 25 mm with two cartridges, and X1JET HP Stitch cascades up to eight heads for images up to 100 mm.

Choose by environment and integration: X1JET models are compact all-in-one coders; Integra One adds a display for system integrators; IP-JET HP, Integra One IP and Integra Ultimate are IP65-protected.

02 Technology

Large-Character Inkjet Printers

Piezo inkjet systems that print large text, logos and codes directly onto carton material — with printheads from 50 mm to 100 mm high.

Piezo printheads eject ink mechanically from hundreds of nozzles fed by a bulk ink system, which suits large print images on cartons and folding boxes. PACODE’s range covers MX, XR and PP Class technologies.

X1JET MX and X1JET XR are all-in-one systems with integrated maintenance stations; Integra PP 108 adds a circulating ink system and greyscale printing.

03 Technology

Inkjet Print Controllers

Controllers that drive several printheads at once — to code two sides of a pack, or several production lines, from one unit.

A print controller separates the electronics from the printheads, so one unit can run 2, 4 or 8 heads and mix printing technologies. That suits two-sided carton coding and lines where primary and secondary packaging are coded together.

X2JET / X4JET have a 5.7″ touchscreen; Integra Quadro mounts on a DIN rail with an OLED display; Integra Quadro² has no display and takes its data from a PC, network or PLC.

Handheld Inkjet Printers

Battery-powered REINER and Markoprint printers for marking pallets, cartons, wood and parts away from a fixed production line.

Handheld inkjet printers bring coding to the product rather than the product to the printer — useful for pallets, cartons and large or irregular items. Print images are created on a PC and transferred to the device.

Models range from the pocket-sized speed-i-Jet 798 for one-line text to the jetStamp 1025 with 1D/2D barcodes and prints up to 25 mm high.

05 Technology

Hot Ink Roll Coders

Dikai contact coders that print production dates and batch numbers on horizontal and vertical packing machines.

In a hot ink roll coder, a heated ink roll inks the raised type, which then presses the code onto the pack. The coder mounts on the packing machine and prints dates, lot and batch numbers with low consumable cost.

Labeling Systems

Weber label dispensers, applicators and print-and-apply systems for automatic labeling on the production line.

Label dispensers apply pre-printed labels as products pass; print-and-apply systems print variable data onto the label first. Weber’s range covers both, from pre-configured dispensers to configurable machines with integrated control.
